Dear Parents/Guardians,

Happy New Year!!

Welcome back all of our children and families as we begin our journey into 2012. We hope you had a very relaxing and refreshing break! We look forward to getting back into a familiar routine. December was certainly a very busy month for all of us, and we expect that the upcoming months will continue to be busy with many activities.

We would like to take this time to thank all of you for your participation in the various events and Christmas celebrations that John Paul 1 was involved in during the month of December. Your continued involvement in these various activities fostered the Spirit of Christmas both in our school and within the community at large. Thank you for enriching the lives of others.

We would like to welcome Miss Kate Ennis to our family. Miss Ennis will be teaching our Grade 1A class for the remainder of the year as Mrs. Sirois is at home enjoying her new baby boy, Benjamin. Welcome Miss Ennis.

The staff of Escuela John Paul 1 School would like to wish each of our families a Happy New Year and a year filled with many blessings, good health and much happiness.

¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

La bienvenida a todos nuestros niños y familias a medida que comenzamos el nuevo año 2012. Esperamos que hayan tenido un descanso muy relajante y refrescante. Diciembre fue sin duda un mes muy ocupado para todos nosotros, y esperamos que los próximos meses continúen siendo ocupados con muchas actividades.

Nos gustaría aprovechar este momento para agradecer a todos ustedes por su participación en los diversos eventos y celebraciones de Navidad que nuestra escuela estuvo involucrada durante el mes de diciembre. Su continua participación en las diversas actividades fomentó el espíritu de la Navidad, tanto en la escuela y dentro de la comunidad en general. Gracias por enriquecer las vidas de otros.

Nos gustaría dar la bienvenida a la señorita Kate Ennis a nuestra familia. La Srta. Ennis enseñara el grado 1A para el resto del año. La señora Sirois está en casa disfrutando de su nuevo bebé , Benjamin. ¡Muy bienvenida Srta. Ennis!

You can count on our support, professional knowledge and experience, whenever needed. Because we place value on your personal input, your involvement in the months ahead is most welcome.

PARKING AROUND THE SCHOOL

Please be respectful of our community neighbours who live around the school and do not park in front of their driveways when dropping off and picking up the students.
Also, remember that the area in front of the school is a bus zone. Cars cannot stop and/or park in this area especially in the morning or after school when buses are dropping off or picking up students. Thank you for respecting this zone.
